Danish CAESAR contract signed

The Danish Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organisation (DALO) on 22 May awarded a contract to Nexter, the French land defence systems manufacturer, for the supply of 15 (plus an optional six) 8×8 CAESAR artillery systems for the Danish Army.

Major General Hans Christian Mathiesen, Chief of Staff of the Danish Army, had announced the contract on 14 March and you can read the article we wrote at the time here.

In a statement Nexter said “the involvement of Danish industry in the fulfilment of the contract will be essential, in particular for the 10-year sustainment of the Danish CAESAR® systems.
